Diffuse large B cell lymphoma in Inner Mongolia area:a clinicopathological analysis of 50 cases

Purpose To investigate the immunophenotypic feature of diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Methods 50 cases of DLBCL were determined with immunohistochemical staining,and distinguished from other cases according to their immunophenotypic features. A penal of antibodies CD20,CD3,CD79a,CD43,CD45RO,CD10,bcl-6 and MUM-1 were used in this study. Results All of the cases expressed CD20 and CD79a; CD45RO,CD43,CD10,bcl-6 and MUM-1 were expressed in 13 cases,5 cases,17 cases,25 cases and 28 cases,respectively; According to the immunophentypes,21 cases were classified as germinal center B-cell-like DLBCL,and the other 29 cases as activated B-cell-like DLBCL. Conclusions The DLBCL in Inner Mongolia are localized in multiple organs or tissues,most commonly in the neck,tonsil and gastrointestinal tract,which express the markers of B cells CD20 and CD79a in all cases,and CD45RO,a T cell marker,in some cases. Maybe it is the feature of DLBCL cases in the Inner Mongolia.
