Abstract

To investigate the correlation between serum uric acid(SUA) levels and insulin resistance in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),78 patients with NAFLD combined with T2DM(combined group) were analyzed.Among them, there are simple NAFLD group 59 cases, pure T2DM group 80 cases, healthy subjects 80 cases(control group).Comparing the clinical parameters of the four groups and the correlation between SUA levels and insulin resistance.the SUA level and insulin resistance index of the combined group are higher than the other three groups(P0.01);correlation studies have shown that SUA levels is positively correlated with BMI,WHR,FBG,FINS,HOMA-IR and is negatively correlated with insulin sensitivity index,BMI,WHR,TC,SUA and without fatty liver is an important risk factor for insulin resistance.SUA level is closely related to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease combined with type 2 diabetes.
