Abstract

According to the interpreting model about Symbolic works,that is,from the individual to the groups then to the whole,we will find Bing Mei Guan Ji written by Gong Zi-zhen who lived in the Qing Dynasty has multiple symbolic meaning.From the individual perspective,it is the portraiture of the author;from the groups' perspective,it is an reflection of feudal intellectuals;from the overall perspective,it has a kind of philosophical meaning that pursues individuality liberation and opposes morbid beauty.It is really a masterpieces which uses simple language but expresses very rich meaning.
