Abstract
Feng Menglong is taken as a progressive man of letters in the late Ming Dynasty;and meanwhile,he is also a good Confucian man;Stories from a Ming Collection is a novel full of desires,but it also advocates ethics.Both of them are contrary to each other,however,the special age unites them;such a complication contains a profound connotation.
