The content and influence power of Journal of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University(Natural Science Edition)

The issued papers in 2007-2011 involved 55 disciplines,in which papers were in skew distribution.Plant protection,horticulture,animal husbandry and medicine,crop,forestry,biology,agricultural basic science were dominant disciplines,the papers of 62.359% were from these disciplines.The ratio of funded papers,cited frequency,download frequency of these papers were relatively higher,as well as the quality and influence power.The amount of published papers from the discipline of plant protection was not only on the top,but also its national ratio was the highest.Evidently,it was the most important discipline in the journal.The discipline of silkworm,bee and wild animal protection was not very outstanding in the amount of published papers,but its national ratio was merely under the discipline of plant protection.It is the characteristic discipline in the journal.The authors of the journal was abundant,they come from all over the country.The total byline was 1988 in the journal in 2007-2011,of which most come from the university,especially those authors who issued more than two papers.In the 5 years,most authors in the journal were in the active studying period,they issued many papers with the average of 13.64.The average publication delay was 262.7 days,which indicated further improvement was needed.
