Analysis on citation data of XUST journal(natural science edition) in 2005—2010

2011 is the 30th anniversary of Xi'an University of Science and Technology(XUST) Journal(natural science edition).In order to review the gain and loss for the journal-running for past 30 years,the citation data for the journal in recent years are analyzed using the related indexes of literature statistics.It is concluded that the journal is of a certain influence from the published papers,ration of funded papers;distribution of authors' discipline,ration of authors' professional title,impact factor and comparison with the similar ones in the same region.Due to limitation of the contribution sources,the journal is not yet outstanding in terms of key disciplines,and the discipline characteristics is not notable yet.Authors both at the university and outside are generally lack of citation practice for the available academic achievements,making the attention-paying level for the journal is not very high.
