Abstract
This paper introduces the structure and charactenistic of two novel types of hybrid excitation linear synchronous motor with permanent magnet and electric excitation.The air-gap magnetic field of the two types of linear motors is analyzed with ANXYS8.1 software pack.The results of the distribution of magnetic field and the electromagnetic propulsive force are shown.In the end,we compare the theoretical trsults with the expenrimental tesults of the actual model.
