The Evolvement of Wang Guo-wei's Views on Tragedy

Abstract
Wang Guo wei is the first scholar who put forward the conception of tragedy in Chinese literary history. Wang brought forward the viewpoints in many aspects, and formed preliminarily his own system. The influence of his ideas were far reaching, however, the evolvement of his views should not be overlooked. In the late term, his ideas were more accordant with Chinese literary fact.
