Abstract
As a famous scholar in Qin Danasty, WANG Guo-wei's unusual achievements in learning is based on his innovation spirit which lies not only in his broad fields of study but also in his works of literary criticism. Although WANG Guo-wei's innovation spirit has some contradictory features in the inaugurating and turning period, it is more valuable in a conservative time when WANG's life was full of misfortune. His sprit will enlighten the modern scholars in their researches.
