A Research on the Problems and Solutions for the Physical Education Reforms in Colleges and Universities in the New Era

The physical education reform in colleges and universities signifies a radical change in the cognition and concept for PE.The PE reform should focus on the cultivation of students’ sport behavior,cultural accomplishment and comprehensive abilities under the guidance of humanity ideology.However,in some universities,the teaching of physical education is still lack of the recognition in students’ principal role,the nature of PE teaching,the purpose of teaching evaluation,the needs of post-teaching,etc.As a result,some schools still stick to the old ways in the curriculum design and the arrangement of teaching contents.It is proposed that the current situation needs a breakthrough of the traditional concept and mode of thinking and reformation in the curriculum design,theoretical teaching,PE teaching,management and appraisal.
