Research on the Multimedia Technology in College English Teaching

Abstract

The application of multimedia technology in college English teaching has brought about new teaching concept and method,whereas the effect of multimedia college English teaching has more room to improve.From the perspective of constructivist learning theory,this article probes into the current phenomenon of inefficient college English teaching with multimedia due to lack of applying appropriate theory.It also gives suggestions on the designing of courseware and the art of multimedia teaching for the purpose of actually improving the effect of college English teaching.
