The therapeutic effect of Fuzhengyangyin decoction assistant with high intensity focused ultrasound on VX_2 liver cancer in rabbits:an experimental study

Objective To experiment the therapeutic effect of Fuzhengyangyin decoction assistant with high intensity focus ultrasound(HIFU)on the VX2 liver cancer in rabbits.Methods Totally 30 rabbits which induced with VX2 cancer in liver were divided into 3 groups,HIFU group(HIFU therapy),combination group(HIFU assistant with Fuzhengyangyin decoction),and control group(without any treatment),each group involved 10 rabbits.The volume of tumor,ALT,metastasis,and pathological changes were followed up during the stage of treatment.Results The volume of tumor in the combination group and HIFU group decreased obviously than the control group(P0.05),although there was no significant statistical difference between these two treatment groups.Four weeks later,the ALT of HIFU group and the combination group lower than the control group(P0.05),and the combination group got more significant results(P0.01).There were no metastasis in combination group,but 2 of HIFU group and all control group were metastasized to lung.Ultrasound and pathological report supported the final results.Conclusion The Fuzhengyangyin decoction assistant with HIFU had better therapeutic effect in VX2 liver cancer in rabbit liver.This primarily experimental study provides the foundation results to the clinic research of the combination therapy on liver tumor.
