Abstract
Since the reform and opening, the agricultural GDP increases correspondingly with the continual increase in agricultural input, which means the two are correlative. In order to ascertain the correlativity between the two and the role that the agricultural input plays in the development of agricultural economy,an improved T-correlation analysis method was used in analyzing the data of the total amount of agricultural input, input structure and agricultural-GDP in the years of 1978-2006 according to China Statistical Yearbook,in order to carry out an empirical studies. The results showed that: there is a strong and positive correlation between the investment and the agricultural growth.Agricultural investment has played a larger role in promoting economic development of agriculture.
