Abstract
Objective:To investigate the protective effect and its role of kakkonein on hepatic ischemia reperfusion injury in rats.Methods:Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into three groups:pseudo-operation normal control group, hepatic ischemia reperfusion injury model group and kakkonein group.After hepatic ischemia and reperfusion, the levels of ALT, AST and LDH in the serum were analyzed.The injury circumstance of the liver tissue in each group was compared by HE staining.Results:After hepatic ischemia reperfusion, the contents of ALT, AST and LDH were increased obviously compared with the normal group, and there were apparent haemostasis around the Vena portalis hepatis of the liver, some sporadic lamellar cell necrosis, and a small amount of inflammatory cells and mononuclear cell infiltration.After pretreated with 40 mg/kg dose of the kakkonein, contents of ALT, AST and LDH were obviously decreased when compared with the hepatic ischemia reperfusion injury model group.The changes could be also observed by the optical microscope that liver cell injury in the kakkonein groups was less severe than that in the hepatic ischemia reperfusion injury model group.Conclusions:The kakkonein has a protective effect on hepatic ischemia reperfusion injury in rats.
