Abstract

A strain of Bacillus sp.CY1-3 which could produce endo-1,4-β-glucanase was mutagenized by UV and NTG,gave a cellulase yield of 53.86 U/mL which was 4 times as that of original strain. Results showed that the optimum UV irradiation time was four minutes and the best NTG concentration was 0.06%.
