Abstract

[Objective] To compare the content of total flavone and gallic acid in Polygonum capitatum from different provenances.[Method] UV-VIS spectrophotometry method and HPLC were used to determine the content of total flavone and gallic acid in Polygonum capitatum from five different provenances.[Result] In the different provenances of Polygonum capitatum tested,the content of total flavone and gallic acid varied significantly.[Conclusion] It should be known that the effect of different provenances on the quality of herbs.
