Abstract
Objective To compare the contents of the total flavone in the wild and cultivated Polygonum capitatum from eleven producing areas.MethodsUV-VIS spectrophotometry methods were used to determine the contents of the total flavone. Results In the eleven kinds of Polygonum capitatum, those produced in Panxian,Kunming and Motuo contained the total flavone more, and the cultivated Polygonum capitatum in Shibing contained the total flavone more.ConclusionThe content of the total flavone in the wild and cultivated Polygonum capitatum from various areas is different, and attention must be paid to the effects of environment on the quality of herbs.
