The multi-carrier CDMA based on OFDM

Abstract

MC-CDMA system is a multiple access scheme that combines the advantages of both CDMA and OFDM technologies. This paper firstly introduces the basic principle of OFDM, then provides the model of the MC-CDMA system. Through the comparison between MC-CDMA and DS-CDMA, we conclude that MC-CDMA is the ideal system to the need of future's communication, since its higher capacity, simpler structure, and better performance in anti-interference.
