Abstract
OBJECTIVE To optimize conditions for extracting flavonoid compounds from Sophora alopecuroides L.METHODS The methods of flavonoid extraction from Sophora alopecuroides L.by ethanol refluxing extraction technology, maceration method and Soxhlet extracted method were studied. Optimal conditions were determined, taking temperature, time, reagent concentration and the ratio of sample to solvent as influenced factors. While, the content of quercetin in Sophora alopecuroides L.was detected by HPLC.RESULTS The optimum extraction process was that the samples were carried out refluxing with 12-fold volume of 75% ethanol at 80℃ for three times,2 h each time.CONCLUSION The method of ethanol refluxing is the best way for extracting, which is cheaper, simple and practicable for industrial production.
