Abstract
Scene Simulation of virtual environments may be widely applied in many fields such as city planning, tourist industry, and virtual battlefield. The technique has been applied to the research of “Digtal Campus” with the development of GUI,which can provide a new approach for the planning and design of the campus.Based on Multigen/Vega the whole structure of scene simulation system is analyaed. Some key technologies about how to realize the system are introduced, including the flow of data processing,3D modeling, the development of application software,The results show that,it is a practical method to develop the scene simulation system with Multigen/Vega and with the support of GIS the prospect in markey will be very well.
