On the Historical Formation of "Ci-poetry Flourishing in the Region of Wu" in the Ming Dynasty and New Tendencies in Ci Studies

From the Song Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty,there arose a tendency of Ci poets’ coming in assembly to the region of Wu,and hence the saying of flourishing in the region of became a unique cultural phenomenon.Besides,the culture in the region of Wu during that period had developed into an independent system.Unique local culture has influenced and shaped the main disposition of Ming-Dynasty Ci-poetry,that is,the Ci-poetry of the artists.On the basis of this,the Ci-poetry of the Ming dynasty has,on the whole,taken on a new look different from that of the Song Dynasty.
