Abstract

The drought experiments by using 30% PEG6000 solution and drought shed were carried out to study different response of 10 wheat genotypes to drought stress.The results showed that the period of drought resistance of 10 wheat genotypes was different and the traits of drought resistance of one wheat genotype was different completely.Jining 16 and Hengguan 35 had high level germination potentiality,germination rate and germination speed in drought condition.Yunong 949 had strong drought resistance in seedling growth period,its seedling height,leaf number,shoot dry weight,root dry weight,chlorophyll content and proline content were higher than that of the others.The yield per plant of Nanyang 996 was the highest under drought stress,followed Yunong 949.When the complex drought resistance coefficient was used to evaluate drought resistance of wheat,Nanyang 996 had the best drought resistance,which was consistent with its yield.
