The paper describes the eight peak periods in the development of Chinese prose,including early Qin Dynasty,Tang Dynasty,Song Dynasty and Ming Dynasty,by listing the representative works in each period.It also expounds the ideas and structures of prose writing.The paper sheds lights on the development of Chinese prose and is helpful to the improvement of prose writing.
