Abstract
The flash point and the spontaneous ignition temperature of binary flammable liquid mixtures consisting of alcohol species, ketone species, aether species and ester species with different proportion were studied by automatic closed-cup flash point tester and automatic ignition temperature detector. The empirical formula for flash point and spontaneous ignition temperature was fitted by Taylor polynomial. In addition, the empirical formula was verified through the experimental data.
