The relationship between D-dimer and metastasis in patients with colorectal cancer

Abstract

Objective To explore the relationship between D-dimer and metastasis in patients with colorectal cancer(CRC).Methods A case-control study was adopted to retrospectively investigate the relationgship between D-dimer and metastasis in 235 CRC patients of our hospital.Results There were 132 cases in the positive group of D-dimer(250 μg/L)in CRC patients,and 81 cases had the lymph nodes and the distant organs metastasis;there were 103 cases in the negative group(≤250 μg/L),and 42 cases had the lymph nodes and the distant organs metastasis;two groups of comparisons had statistics difference(P0.05).Conclusion The D-dimer and the condition development of CRC have relevance.
