Present Situation and Prospects of Carbon Emissions Trading

The grim situation of climate change and international cooperation on the problem are firstly described.As one of those measures,carbon emissions trading are divided into two types of project transactions and quota trading,and then the present situation of the world's Clean Development Mechanism(CDM) projects and the international carbon emissions quota trading system are introduced.In this paper,the development situation and risks of CDM projects are not only proposed,but its future development and the long-term vision of carbon emissions trading.The research framework of carbon emissions trading and development countermeasure are presented,while the necessity of comparative study of carbon emissions trading schemes for the next step is also pointed out.
