Abstract
Selecting 3 families of Eucalyptus globulus and E. maidenii respectively in the progeny test forest of Eucalyptus Seed Orchard,32 trees have been sampled from each families in accordance with equal moment of diameter grade in block of different site conditi ons. After analyzing, it is found that the fiber length variation shows: within sampleswithin familiesamong families. The fiber length variation in diameter grade and among families of Eucalyptus globulus both reach significant level (0 05 ), but that of E.maidenii does not. The variation of two species among divisions does not get to significant level. The fiber length has significant correlation with growing characteristics in the better sites of site conditions, however, in inferior sites, the correlation is not very close. If were analyze all samples from the aspect of species, fiber length are related closely with height and breast height diameter.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
