Evolution of DING Ling′s Feminine Consciousness

As a woman writer, DINGLing never ceased to study issues concerning the existence, status and values of Chinese women in her literary works. In the 1930′s, her feminine consciousness was mingled with class emancipation and social revolution. While she was in Yan′an during the Anti-Japanese War, her feminine consciousness matured and found its full expression. After 1945, it emerged again and survived in the dominant mainstream culture.
