Discussion on the Ethic Construction of College Teachers in New Period

The ethic construction of college teachers in this new period is endowed with new connotation including correct belief,consideration of students,honesty and credit,and creative spirits.At present,the main problems existing in college teachers' ethic construction are preference to ability rather than ethics,professional inadequacy,inattention on cultivation,and lacking opinions of setting good examples.To strengthen teachers' ethic construction,the following things should be done: advocating loving students;strengthening moral discipline;enforcing propaganda education;improving training system;perfecting assessment system;strengthening the functions of leadership.
