Abstract
EstablishingChengdu-Chongqing Economic Areacan avoid the negative influence of district economy,and successfully realize the transformation from district economy to economic zone economy.Forming the economic area can fully take the advantage of dense cities in the plays a leading role ofmetro-economic area,and tries to become the fourth pole of economic growth in China.It is a strategic action of realizingfive balanced aspects,promptingWest Region Developmentand the profound development ofthe upriver economic region of Yangtze River.Therefore,establishingChengdu Economic-Chongqing Areais significant theoretically and practically.
