Abstract
The double-hit hot compression test for low carbon steel Q235 was conducted on Thermecmastor-Z simulator. The kinetics equations of static recrystallization were established. Results show that static recrystallization proceeds rapidly under the conditions of heavy deformation, high strain rate and at low temperature in the range of 850-800 ℃.Austenite grain size within 10-20 μm can be obtained by static recrystallization of deformed austenite.
