Abstract
With the wide application and development of geographic information system and internet technology,has the conception of Web GIS and the perfection of its technology,at the same time,information build becomes the focus of every industry and field.By analyzing the geographic information of power plant,combining the characteristics of power plant,puts forward the conception of power plant geographic information.Combining the characteristics of Web GIS,discusses the design thought and method of power plant geographic information,develops the information management system with Mapx of Map Info company,realizes the functions of glancing over,inquiring,special subject map etc.,also visual,intelligent,informational management,thereby improves effectively the work efficiency of power plant.
