Abstract
Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy and feasibility of the children sequential therapy treatment for the children with Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori) infection. Methods One hundred and fifty children with the upper gastrointestinal symptoms were chosen, and 13 carbon-urea breath test(13C-UBT) detection of H.pylori was positive, and they were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,75 cases for each group, the treatment group was treated by 10-day sequential therapy, the control group was treated by the conventional triple therapy,4 weeks later, reviewed the 13C-UBT and determine the rate of H.pylori eradication. Results The total efficiency rate of the treatment group and the control group respectively were 93.33% and 82.67%,the H.pylori eradication rates respectively were 93.33% and 62.67%,there were statistically significant differences between two groups(P 0.05);the adverse reaction rate of the treatment group was 13.33%,and the control group was14.67%,the difference was not statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion The clinical efficacy of the children sequential therapy to eradicate the H.pylori is significantly better than the traditional triple therapy, and fewer adverse reactions,is the choice for a new program for the eradication of H.pylori infection.
