Abstract

Lin Yutang has combined Individualism with Chinese Taoism culture and Neo-Confucianism of Ming and Qing Dynasty,and made it localized.The paper will analyze the specific forms of Individualism and the relation with Nationalism in the process of localization,to promote understanding of modern Intellectuals’thoughts and cultural selections in the cultural conflict of oriental culture and western culture.
