Textual Research on Hengcheng School in the Southern Song Dynasty and "School Order and Discipline"

Hengcheng School,founded by Jiang Mu who was born in Dongyan in the Southern Song Dynasty,was a private one with fairly much influence in the southern part of Zhejiang Province in the late Song Dynasty.School Order and Discipline,drawn up by Jiang Mu and Fang Fengchen,a philosopher of the Song Dynasty,systematically specified the school running guidelines,the entrance qualifications,the teaching content and methods,the school management,etc.,which played an important part in the development of Hengcheng School.
