Abstract
The influence of five kinds of external windows of a residential building in Shijiazhuang City on cooling and heat load and energy consumption for cooling and heating per unit floor area under different orientations and different area ratios of window to wall is simulated and analyzed.A kind of external window with better energy saving effect from five kinds of external windows is screened at a given area ratio of window to wall.
