Abstract

A model of the shear lag effect is made for a classical box girder so as to analyse the influence of prestressed function in landscape orientation and in vertical orientation on shear lag effect for box girder. Then some proposals are provided for the related problems in bridge design. In a sense, the results can be referred in designing box girder bridges.
