Abstract
The paper introduces the shear lag effect of the thin-walled box girder and its variation calculation methods,illustrates the process of the shear lag effect of the box girder of the variation calculation by combining with the cantilevel box girder of the factual bridge,and proves by the results that the influence of the shear lag effect can not be neglected in the bridge structure of the thin-walled box girder,so it can be the important factor influencing the design.
