Cultural Confidence & Modern Chinese Education

Modern Chinese education has been in practice for half century. Its system was established under the guidance of linguistics since the May-Fourth Movement. However, this liguistics contained a sense of inferiority, which influenced the development of modern Chinese education. We should build upon our own cultural confidence and command modern Chinese education with the culture of our nation, while at the same time assimilating the strong points of western culture. We should put the elements of Chinese culture into modern Chinese education and soak modern Chinese education into the Chinese humanities.
