Abstract
Objective To compare the effect of felodipine and nitrendipine in the treatment of senile hypertension.Methods Felodipine(5~10mg/d) and Nitreadipine(20~30mg/d) were given to two groups(each 21) with hypertension for 4 weeks.Results The effective rate was 95.2% in the Felodipine group and the rate in the Nitreadipine group was 85.7%(P0.05).Conclusion Felodipine is effective,safe and well tolerated in the treatment of senile hypertension.
