Observation of reflux esophagitis treated by combination of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine

Objective To study the clinical effect of combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in treating reflux esophagitis.Methods 126 cases of reflux esophagitis were randomly divided into the control group with routine western medicine treatment and treatment group with combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,63 patients in each group.The course was four weeks in two groups.The therapeutic effect,gastroscope score and symptoms score were observed and compared.Results The total effective rate in treatment group(95.24%) was higher than that in control group(82.54%,P 0.05).There were significant differences between before and after treatment on the gastroscope score and symptoms score in two groups(P 0.05).The decrease of treatment group was superior to that in control group(P 0.05).Conclusion The combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine has definite effect in treatment of reflux esophagitis.
