Abstract
Objective:To observe the expressions of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) and calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP) of the intestinal tissues of portal hypertension in rats and investigate the significance in portal hypertensive enteropathy on the model of portal hypertension in rats. Methods: Male SD rats were randomly divided into a experimental group and a control group. The SD rats in the experimental group were performed by the two-stage ligation of portal vein plus ligation of the left adrenal vein and the portal vein pressure was measured in two weeks after complete portal ligation. The expressions of TNF-α and CGRP in intestinal tissues were observed by immunohistochemistry. Results: The portal vein pressure of rats in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P0.05).TNF-α and CGRP of the intestinal tissues of rats in the experimental group were strongly positive expression, but those in the control group were negative or weakly positive expression. Conclusion: TNF-α and CGRP play a certain role in the intestinal mucosa lesions of portal hypertension.
