62 Cases with Six Ingredients Rehmannia Pill and Its Analogous Prescriptions for Treating Primary Sjogren Syndrome

Objective: To study the clinical effect of Six Ingredients Rehmannia Pill and its analogous prescriptions for treating primary sjogren syndrome. Conclusion: Six Ingredients Rehmannia Pill and its analogous prescriptions have good clinical effects on primary sjogren syndrome. Methods: 186 cases with primary sjogren syndrome were randomly divided into 3 groups. The control group were given routine treatment; the Six Ingredients Rehmannia Pill group were given conventional treatment plus oral administration of Six Ingredients Rehmannia Pill; the Anemarrhena,Phellodendron and Rehmannia Pill group were given routine treatment plus oral administration of Anemarrhena,Phellodendron and Rehmannia Pill. The treatment lasted for 8 weeks. The main laboratory indexes and the efficacy of these three treatment methods before and after the experiment were compared. Results: After the treatment,the patients in each group significantly improved compared with the situation before the treatment( P 0. 05),and indexes of the groups given Six Ingredients Rehmannia Pill and Zhibai Dihuang Pill improved more significantly than the control group did( P 0. 05). The effective rate of Six Ingredients Rehmannia Pill group was 83. 87%; the effective rate of Anemarrhena,Phellodendron and Rehmannia Pill group was 87. 10%,and that of the control group was 72. 58%. The difference between the three groups had with statistical significance( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Six Ingredients Rehmannia Pill and its analogous prescriptions have remarkable effects on primary sjogren syndrome.
