Abstract
In this paper,we took the case of a coal mine located in Gaoping Shanxi,we predicted the land surface subsidence using software MSPS developed by China University of Mining and Technology. We spatial overled and statistical analysed the results by AutoCAD 2008 and ArcGIS 9.3.and achieved the spatial distribution about factors of the damage indicator of mines land finally. This test not only made the data base for land reclamation suitability evaluation, but also summarized the method for determination of land damage extent. In addition,we made recommendations for improvement about prediction software selection and evaluation establishment of land damage extent.
