Abstract
Preparation methods and recent research advances of nanometer TiO 2 are introduced in detail. Advantages and disadvantages in synthesizing nanometer TiO 2 between gas phase and liquid phase processes are discussed. The main research direction is also pointed out. China should accelerate the development of new production technologies for nanometer TiO 2 tallying with actual domestic conditions.
