Thoughts of Anti-Hegemony in the Concept of Harmonious World

Facing the development of world economic globalization,integration and information as well as the new changes of hegemonic forms,the CPC’s new generation of central collective leadership with Comrade Hu Jintao at its core puts forward a concept of harmonious world to response to the unilateralism: struggling against hegemony with a reasonable,methodical and peaceful manner,advocating multilateralism to promote democracy and legality of international relations,and restraining cultural hegemony in globalization by promoting the harmonious coexistence of different cultures.The anti-hegemony in the concept of harmonious world has upheld the essence of Deng Xiaoping’s anti-hegemonic ideology,that is,in a long-term coexistence with the world powers,we must properly handle internal and external relations,maintain regional and world peace,and create conditions to develop ourselves,gradually restraining and weakening the hegemony in the world.
