Abstract
To reduce the excessive vibration of power assembly, the vehicle test and local modal analysis of a minibus have been carried out.The results of analysis prove that the excitation frequency from the engine is close to the natural frequency of the vibration system composed of the corbel and its mounting.Based on the design theory of dynamic vibration absorber(DVA),a damping DVA has been designed and assembled in the power assembly. The vehicle test results show that the DVA can effectively control the vibration of the power assembly. The theoretical analysis and testing methods provide some reference for similar engineering.
