The correlation research between chronic prostatitis and male reproductive ability

Objectives To investigate the chronic prostatitis associated with infertility in patients.Methods According to the diagnosis of chronic prostatitis standard screening with prostatitis with infertility in 45 cases;other simple sterile group 26 cases,determination of phallic biology shake threshold,antisperm antibody,semen quality,sperm deformity,seminal plasma fructose,zinc content.Results Compared with simple sterile prostatitis group,phallic biology shake threshold,sperm density and sperm zinc content is no diference than those of of chronic prostatitis goup,antisperm antibody,sperm deformity,activity level and activity of a+h in simple sterile groups there were statistically significant differences between two group(P0.05).Conclusion Chronic prostatitis can cause sperm activity rate decreased,abnormal sperm increased and antisperm antibody,is probably the main reason of male sterility.
