Abstract
When prior distribution of the zero-failure data is in the form of Gamma distribution,the estimation of the failure rate can be acquired in exponential distribution.The reliability estimation of zero-failure data can be gained through Bayesian and hierarchical Bayesian estimation of the failure-rate.Examples are also given to illustrate the estimation discussed in this paper.
