Abstract
Alzheimer disease(AD),a progressive neurodegeneration disorder,is the most common type of dementia.Tau hyperphosphorylation is considered to be one of the central event in the pathogenesis of AD.Tau protein is a brain microtubule-associated protein that could be modified by protein kinases(phosphorylation)and protein phosphatase(dephosphorylation). The function abnormalities of tau protein may be a necessary part of the neuronal dysfunction and death. Here is to make a review focusing on the structure and function of tau,tau hyperphosphorylation, the accommodation of tau phosphorylation and the relationship between β-amyloid protein, tau protein and AD.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
